Emergency Response: Since the Hurricane Katrina's devastating effect on the gulf coast, New Mexico and Grant County have been working hard on emergency response. The Health Council has aided in drafting social relief plans in conjunction with the Grant County Emergency Manager. Also local groups of residents has tackled the issues of how our community responds to emergency situations.
