II. Old Business -
A. Follow-up on May roundtable discussion re: Homeless Youth: Alice Jones stated that though interest was high in the topic there had not yet been a meeting. She suggested that the group consider how grandparent issues ties into the homeless youth matter since Grant County has 7 times the national rate for grandparents being primary care givers to grandchildren. She proposed that grandparent's issues be a topic for a future IAA roundtable discussion. The group agreed this would be a good place to start to tie homelessness into the broader issue that is affecting our community.
III. New Business-
A. Roundtable Discussion in August - Meth - update: Melvyn Gelb discussed possible invitees for the roundtable. Four agencies, including Border Area Mental Health Services, will send representatives/speakers. The group suggested El Refugio, NM Legal Aid, CYFD, and JPPO as possible voices that need to be heard on how meth is affecting the community.
IV. Community Committee Updates

Plans for teen outreach involving DV awareness were being made. The group also hears updates from police on DV & SA issues. Some recent ones have involved meth users prostituting out children.
